Sculpture Symposium – 16 March 2019

By February 12, 2019Uncategorized

In our regional village we are so privileged to have talent, experience and creativity to share with our community. As with previous years, Sculpture Bermagui is hosting a public Sculpture Symposium presenting 3 artists and their work.

Camouflage – Suzie Bleach and Andy Townsend. Partnering in art and life, Suzie Bleach and Andy Townsend will talk of their journey through joint single sculptural works, often represented through four legged friends and their place in the world.

Tooting on God’s silent whistle – Ross Cameron. Ross will share his inspirations and how they have lead him to express his interpretations in stone and other media.

Food for Thought – Marianne Courtney and Bev Hogg. From another collaborative perspective, Marianne Courtney and Bev Hogg explain what it means to them to merge their talents and imagination to bring multiple figures to life.

All are welcome to join us for this stimulating exploration of art and its meaning to diverse practitioners, including a formal Q&A session, and chat with them over afternoon refreshments.

Tickets: $15 (includes afternoon tea) available here. Seats are limited.

Date: 16th March 2019 4:00pm – 6:30pm

Venue:  Auditorium, Bermagui Country Club, Tuross St. Bermagui.
